Buffs — real values, per gear
The values are not the same on every gear
This trips up a lot of people: **the same skill name gives a different bonus
depending on your gear.** "Defense Up" on an M-Gear is worth half again what it is
worth on an A-Gear. These are the real numbers from the item table, level 1 to max:
| Buff | B-Gear | M-Gear | A-Gear | I-Gear |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Defense Up | 1 → 10 % | 3.96 → 15.73 % | 0.96 → 10.73 % | 1.96 → 13.73 % |
| Evasion Up | 1 → 10 % | 1.96 → 13.73 % | 1.96 → 13.73 % | 3.96 → 14.73 % |
| Siege Defense | — | — | 9.80 → 24.71 % | — |
| Reduce Damage | 3 → 15 % | — | — | — |
On the A-Gear the evasion line is named Evasion rather than Evasion Up. On the
B-Gear the seventh and last level of the evasion line is also named Evasion —
it is the same skill line, not a separate buff.
Siege Defense is A-Gear only. Reduce Damage is B-Gear only, and it cuts shield
damage taken rather than raising a defense percentage.
M-Gear group buffs
The three Raging skills belong to the M-Gear, but they are cast on the whole
group — so every gear benefits from having an M-Gear around.
| Buff | Levels | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Raging Fire | 1 → 9 | +10 % → +45 % damage |
| Raging Defense | 1 → 9 | +2.75 % → +24.71 % defense |
| Raging Evasion | 1 → 9 | +2.75 % → +24.71 % evasion |
Everything stacks
Buffs add together rather than overriding each other. The server applies each one
with a plain addition, so a defense percentage from Defense Up, Raging Defense, a
Def. Charm and a formation all sum up.
Charms are equipment (+5.10 %) and formations are available to every gear
(+1.08 %), so they stack on top of your skills without competing for a slot.
